Lara brings a strong foundation in research, writing and policy analysis to S-3 group. She supports research, fundraiser coordination and legislative tracking across various issues. Her research spans across appropriations, budget and reconciliation.
Lara earned a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Rhetoric, Media and Social Change from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Drake University has also nominated Lara for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship. Originally from Minnetonka, Minnesota, Lara now resides in Washington DC.
